This is for all the Miley Cyrus fans!
I think A)this article truly portrays the grossness with young girls being sex symbols and B) its brings to mind the Kayne West episode in which we had to ask ourselves, was it all for show or was it real?

I believe Miley has clearly demonstrated that her talent is now becoming intentional and a way for her to out step her perimeter of the Disney fan-base. I mean who wouldnt if you could trade young girls for creepy old drooly men?!?!

Letterman Scandal

As I'm sure some of you know, David Letterman is involved in this sex and extortion scandal. For those of you who are not yet aware, here's the taping of his show in which he admits and explains it all.

I wonder if this will spiral into a bigger deal. Also, I think it's really interesting that the audience keeps laughing etc. while it's actually a fairly intense circumstance. He says "there's no light moment" about it and that it's "scary"... but he also tells the story in a way that is sort of funny, but uncomfortable way. Is this deadpan? Does this circumstance even sound real?

This whole thing and the way Letterman went about explaining it just weirds me out...

Shoes--an interesting video creation

I came upon this video awhile ago when it was circulating throughout the internet. Some of you may have seen this before. It is a very interesting video that I'm pretty sure was just put together by some random guy who wanted to make a video. In my opinion this is a brilliant creation. It's very quirky and random, but really funny!

Glenn Beck Parody

A new Glenn Beck meme has sprung up, and he is not happy about it. The controversy is over the site www.glennbeckrapedandmurderedayounggirlin1990.com. The site and supposed crime are completely fictitious, and the site has a disclaimer at the top that admits the site is a parody. Due to slander and legal issues it would be very difficult to execute a concept like this in a truly deadpan manner, but the site made me think how it would be cool to come up with a (much less offensive, but just as provocative) celebrity driven site. The power of rumor and gossip surrounding a celebrity (especially one who is currently relevant due to the Van Jones controversy) makes for instant viral attention. Just a thought.

Well, Barnum has his work cut out for him. This isn't exactly art... it's just kind of crazy.
