This may just be the best suite of music videos I have ever seen. Rammstein, from Berlin. They're just plain sublime. I could go on about these for days, but you should just watch....all of them.

Aesop Rock's "None Shall Pass" video - the making of

This is the making of video for the post that Kento put up a couple days ago. "None Shall Pass"is a tremendous piece; a great collaboration between Aesop rock, the SF based artist Jeremy Fish (who's talented as can be), and a design team called Ordinary Kids also from San Francisco. The result is a wonderful completely enjoyable high energy, fun yet contemplative piece of art. It's rich in sound and cuts deep. I'm glad to know it and will listen to more.

soviet russia

Here is some beautiful time-lapse photography taken in St. Petersburg just after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

words under fire

I love poetry, so maybe my alarm went off a little when I found this site of a man who makes beautiful "Newspaper Blackout" poetry -- in other words, poetry he finds in the newspaper, between the lines, so to speak. I think he does a beautiful job with the textiles of his projects, and also creates gorgeous prose. Aesthetically, the work is also very pleasing. Give the site a look-around.

New Justice Video

Though everyone will draw the inevitable parallel to GTA 4, this video is actually shot like the French film "Man Bites Dog"/“C’est arrivé près de chez vous.”

Gorillaz- Feel Good Inc

Beautiful animation....I looks like its a blend/combination of classic animation and aftereffects. Wow. Watch the megaphone segment and the acoustic gtar windmill closeup. How do you guys think this was done?

Obvious choice but..

I hope everyone in our class saw Aesop Rock. These guys have awesome projections live on stage. I love the video artist and his animation style. This video doesnt seem too hard to (potentially) make on after effects. This video really inspired me.
