I have been toying around with several ideas for our first project, one of which is beauty and all the things women do to achieve society's idea of beauty. I found several clips on you-tube of women waxing (quite painfully), tanning, excercising, applying makeup, etc. I also wanted to show the darker side of our society's obsession with appearance which is how I came upon this video. It's pretty cheesy, and it's more of a slideshow than a college but a lot of the images (especially toward the end) are really affective. I'm not sure if I am going to stick with this idea or not but it is still a pretty dramatic video to watch.
