Very interesting. And yes, I agree, both awful, though as the Wired writer suggests the most wanted feels almost more unbearable to listen to than the least wanted. This study and the resulting compositions were put together by Komar and Melamid, two Russian artists who are also well known for a study they did on most and least wanted images in dozens of different countries in the world. http://awp.diaart.org/km/painting.html The results are fascinating - they may or may not surprise you, and like the music, both seem rather unappealing (IMHO). Komar and Melamid are known also for establishing special schools in India that are dedicated to teaching formerly abused elephants to paint.
