It's something about the slowing down that I think gives you enough time to observe the details and very subtle muscles in the dogs' faces. We are very capable of detecting minute changes in peoples' expressions, and we respond as humans to these cues, but the muscles in the dogs faces elicit very similar micro-movements that actually remind me of complex human emotion.It makes me want to film my dog this way and almost get to know them on this level! Is that weird?
