This is a fascinating article from the Wall Street Journal about a study that was done on a group surgical residents--8 of whom used a specially designed wii controller to practice delicate motor skills, and 8 of whom did not. The results showed that the ones who practiced on the wii improved their surgical skills. It sounds silly perhaps,but really it makes total sense and is a great idea.
