I've come across a site dedicated to removing Garfield from the "Garfield" comic strip. We find Jon alone, providing some really poignant moments. "Garfield" becomes the comic strip for existentialists. Here's the site.

this site is fantastic! after a couple of pages of these comics, one can imagine that garfield was never actually there at all! nov 5th is the best.
