Hello Laura Mulvey!! This video basically personifies the Male Gaze to the fullest. Also note how Beyonce appears "white" in some of the scenes and then is juxtaposed in different scenes with her darker skin tones...

the song is pretty uninteresting I feel, however the lyrics do incorporate a great aspect of today's culture and the "video phone." I also really enjoyed the doubled images of beyonce and the men in suits.
