This is a nice little site of aerial photography that's been showing up on tumblogs lately. Click along the menu of "recent posts" on the right to see different shots. It's really cool to see how different -- and sometimes how much more beautiful -- things can appear from different angles.

WOw, and more wow! Those are some stunning pics. I never get tired of the clever aerial shot, and I also like the variety of angles here, as you mention. Getting farther away from stuff helps one to really see. The mystery of order and beauty is confirmed.
Cool. This is exactly a type of art captured by a photo artist who flew over it one day documenting it saying "this is beautiful art!" Anybody could have taken the shot but noticing it as art and beauty makes the artist/photographer great.
