yeah, i watched that movie. i think i like Cate Blanchet better as a man. i saw a movie that was similar to this in that it used different people to play the same character. i'll post something.
I saw this movie last spring. Loved it. A must see. A love the approach of portraying somebody through several actors and angles. It seems authentic, because I believe we are all made up of multiple facets (despite the fact that we tend to see ourselves as having some constant idea of who we are). Todd Haynes, the director, is brilliant.
I too saw this movie last spring. I enjoyed it quite a bit, even though I really don't have a good deal of knowledge about the early years of Bob, or a lot of the background stories they were referring to... But still overall I really liked it and recommend it to anyone with any interest.
and Cate Blanchet makes a great man (My roommate just saw it, and he was trying to explain to me the scene and kept saying "the guy in the black and white scene.")
