here is my revised video. I removed the graphic layering and reduced some of quick cross cutting. i'd be interested to hear what everyones thoughts are on it.

I have to say I enjoy this one better than the version we saw in class. It just seems like I'm forced to pay attention to meaning as opposed to trying to sort out what's going on with everything else. This is still a very impressive piece!
IMO this is greatly improved from the 1st version we saw. It's more distilled without the effects, and has more impact. There are still a couple of spots where I think the cuts could be aligned a little better to the musical shifts (one of these is the point at which the bells come in--I have a feeling you might be able to improve that moment). Otherwise, a terrific and thoughtful revision.
i liked the way the action moved with the musical shifts. The action picked up visually as the music picked up... like with the dead bird that was moving a lot. but like Exc said, the cuts could be a little tighter to the music. i thought this was less eager to get attention without the special effects and therefore more effective. i like the swirling movement of the tied bones. great job.
