Public Toilets

I found this clip of the greatest public restrooms today. It reminded me of Sidney's post of the really cool playgrounds and instilled in me the sense I got when I watched the piano stairs video. Bathrooms are so common-everyday use structures. Public bathrooms are usually dirty, stinky and unpleasant. But they dont have to be. Take a look here and some of the really awesome and artistic structures you could be peeing in next.

What a great artistic way to make use of a common public space. I know for me I always take time to notice the bathroom whenever I'm in a restaurant or what not. All these bathrooms are definitely very innovative. Very cool.

I do the same thing, Zoey. I make note of the types of wood they use for counter tops and cabinets, or if they use some wort of granite or rock for the counter tops. I also think it is interesting if a bathroom is equipped with manual or motion-detecting sinks and paper towel dispersers.

indeed it's interesting how people's psychological state shifts when in the privacy (or commonly privacy) of a bathroom. i think lots of people notice things more intensely. cool photo gallery. loved that one with the urinals up against the glass window in japan.
