I could not help myself. This is maybe the best match in Australian Open History. It's to bad that Roger didnt pull off the win though. This is what i live for, so please enjoy. Roger started crying during the award ceremony after he lost in front of thousands live and millions world wide on tv. I think that says a whole lot about how determined and dedicated and heart breaking a match can really be...

its amazing to me the hours and hours of training it takes to develope athletic ability, when compared with the scant few minutes in which an actual contest is decided.

i'm not a sports person but i can appreciate those epic moments of decision.

What an amazing display of skill and sportsmanship. Now if only Federer upsets Nadal on clay in the Roland Garros for his 14th grand slam title...

The intensity of the post match award speaking made me cry, literally. It's so palpable. The cheers, the tears, the competitors, the silver trophies, the relentless bomb of emotional forces at play; real feeling. Sports is in some ways the very highest of aesthetic pursuits, both in terms of physicality and spectatorship.
