Lucy and Bart
Lucy and Bart are an amazing collaborative art duo. They use simple, low-tech materials to augment the human body, drastically changing its appearance and mobility. I find their photographs to be incredibly striking and beautiful, and just the sort of thing I have been thinking about (only much better realized) to use in potential performances. I highly highly recommend checking out their blog.

The top photo here is my favorite. That is really striking.
great find, I am interested in finding out more about the performances- right now it just looks like top not fashion shots, with an extra twist.
yeah, they aren't performances. These images just seemed perfect for I would like to use in a performance piece.
Hey, this is beautiful. I too thought of these being a twist on fashion design. Gives installation art a whole new outlet.
