hahaha! I can't believe it! I wonder who would be teaching the course. It seems like generally the younger generation has a better grasp on this kind of stuff. Bizarre. I can tell you that I would not sign up, as these sites already distract me and take up too much of my free time.

Yes, I know it seems hard to believe, and funny. But I think there might be another way to think about this, too. Learning how to make the Internet work for you is not at all easy. In many ways it does require real knowledge and skills. Plus, who knows what the jobs of the future will be like? And if possible, wouldn't you like to somehow make a career doing the very thing that otherwise might distract you and makes you feel bad about not doing what you "should" be doing? We might all chuckle at the seeming preposterous-ness of this "degree," but there is a part of me that reserves some space for thinking of it as visionary. Would like to hear more thoughts from others.
