From Trash to Art

Really cool idea. It gives a new outlook to the trash on the streets of New York.

Oh My God YES. That is an amazing idea. It reminds me of an artist who made personal warm shelters by connecting her pieces to air vents.... I want to say it is Lucy Orta, but I'm not entirely sure.

Brilliant. So simple and very alive. I also love how lightweight and inexpensive the materials for this are. I've always thought there was an unspoken equation that related the cost and weight of an art idea to its ultimate impact. If you have a work that costs and weighs very little but has a big impact like this, it adds an extra level of impressiveness to the work. Great video. Glad you posted this.

I also love the useful aspect of the air vented personal warm shelter idea. Tyler, can you find and post anything about that artist as well?

I love this idea. Simple, cheap, interactive with the environment. I'm reminded of the work by another street artist named Mark Jenkins. He makes hollow street "mannequins" out of clear packing tape. Check his website if you're interested.
