LED Sheep!

Herding sheep covered in webs of LED lights: I have no idea if I really buy this or not, but it's pretty incredible either way.

Anyone remember Lite-Brite? It's living, ambulatory Lite-Brite!

This is really cool. Apparently using sheep as a medium for art is not a new thing...I visited an art museum in South America this last summer where several German artists made a film of sheep being sheared in the hills, their wool dyed pink, used to make sweaters and then finally roaming around in these pink sweaters made of their own wool. Pretty interesting..."sheep art" hah!

I'm sorry, but the phrase "Apparently using sheep for art is not a new thing" is art in itself. I could not stop laughing. Can you find the video of that project? It sounds fantastic.

Great new use for textiles in contemporary art. Brilliant work. The ending was much more entertaining than the 2008 opening ceremonies for the Olympics in china, probably more energy efficient too.
