We were talking about Marina Abramovic in 180 last week, and I gave out an essay written by Marina Abramovic. Abramovic is a living legend in the realm of performance art, and she is also famous for many of her videos. I've always thought she was one of the most inspiring, willful, and bold artistic voices currently alive. The videos I'm embedding here are especially good in light of thinking about narrative delivery. But I'm also posting a link to a Marina Abramovic playlist and would encourage everyone to watch as much of it as you can; she has a broad and exciting spectrum of work, including many endurance projects.. You may find yourself drawn in.
